Résumé (français) : | Contexte : Bien que certaines études suggèrent qu’un faible taux de croissance fœtale, tel qu’indiqué par un poids de naissance inférieur, est associé à une mauvaise fonction respiratoire chez les enfants, les résultats chez les adultes restent incohérents. Une étude a été entreprise pour déterminer le lien entre la croissance précoce et la fonction respiratoire de l’adulte. |
Abstract (English) : | Background: While some studies suggest that poor fetal growth rate, as indicated by lower birth weight, is associated with poor respiratory function in childhood, findings among adults remain inconsistent. A study was undertaken to determine the association between early growth and adult respiratory function. |
