Comment le féminisme a-t-il pensé la maternité ? Cette difficile question reste en suspens, dans le féminisme comme dans la philosophie occidentale. On trouve des pistes insolites dans Le roman de Mélusine, conte du XIVè siècle : il met en scène un curieux interdit imposé à l’homme de n’être point témoin de l’accouchement de son épouse. Que nous dit réellement ce conte, et vers quoi nous oriente-t-il ?
