Abstract (English)  :

Retro. With recent introduction of VBAC the pattern of maternal urological injuries associated with vaginal deliveries have changed. 7 females with vaginal delivery had major urologic injury 1992-1994, 4 of which have history of PCS. These included rupture of the posterior bladder wall, trigone and bladder neck. Distal ureteric and urethral injuries as well as bladder contusion were also encountered. 2 patients developed vesico-uterine and vesico-vaginal fistulas. The presence of gross hematuria, incontinence and flank pain should indicate full urological evaluation.
