Résumé (français) : | Malgré la généralisation de l’enregistrement continu du rythme cardiaque fœtal (RCF) depuis les années 1970, le taux de paralysies cérébrales n’a pas diminué alors que le taux de césariennes a très fortement augmenté. Les nombreuses interventions pour anomalies du RCF sans que les nouveau-nés ne présentent de signe d’asphyxie, incitent à développer des techniques dites « de deuxième ligne » afin d’apprécier la tolérance fœtale au cours du travail. |
Abstract (English) : | The wide use of continuous of fetal heart rate monitoring (FHR) since the seventies has been accompanied by an increase in cesarean delivery rates, without any decrease in cerebral palsy rate. |
