Résumé (français) : | “La perfusion: de l’eau, de l’eau à perte de vue, et pas une goutte à boire!” -- Entre 1988 et 1990, moins de 2 femmes sur un million, aux USA, sont mortes d’une quelconque complication liée à l’anesthésie (pas seulement l’aspiration) pendant leur accouchement. De plus, l’anesthésie totale a virtuellement disparu, dans l’accouchement, au bénéfice de la péridurale et des anesthésies locales. Malgré cela, on continue à imposer aux femmes l’interdiction d’absorber des aliments ou des boissons, un protocole hérité de celui des anesthésies générales. Or les études montrent que ce protocole n’apporte strictement aucun avantage. |
