Abstract (English)  :

The extension of medically assisted procreation (PMA) to couples of women, to single women, but also that it be allowed even after the death of the father, will undoubtedly be at the center of the debates on the revision of the laws of bioethics which will take place in the autumn, as it has been at the core of the reflections of the Council of State in a recently published report.

To enlighten its readers on these questions, which sometimes appear as a legal puzzle, the JIM interviewed Laurence Marion, Councilor of State and general rapporteur of the working group on bioethics of the jurisdiction of the Palais-Royal (after having questioned, Thursday, Martine de Boisdeffre, the chair of this working group).
